How to Send an Encrypted Email Using Inky

To send an encrypted email, any of the entries in the list below need to be added to the subject line of the email you are sending. These are not case sensitive and may appear anywhere in the subject. Once the email goes through Inky processing, you will receive an email confirmation that Inky encrypted your email.

  • (encrypt)
  • [encrypt]
  • [enc]
  • encrypt
  • sendsecure
  • send secure
  • confidential

Additional Automatic Encryption

In addition to manual subject line encryption, Inky also scans email for sensitive information and will apply encryption on your behalf.

The sensitive information would be credit card or bank account numbers, national IDs, driver's licenses, passports/visas, other medical information, and cryptocurrency. If you find that this is applying in cases where you would not like it to apply, please contact our helpdesk at support@dtpartners.com or 770-918-0075.
